Dr. Sauveur Ghozland, M.D. is an International Physician licensed in Israel, France and California. Dr. Sauveur Ghozland received his Medical Doctor degree in 1969 at the University of Paris, France; did his Ob/Gyn residency in Israel at the Tel-Aviv University.

Dr. Ghozland is a board certified OB/GYN who currently practices in Beverly Hills in association with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and St. Johns Health Center in Santa Monica. He is currently a lecturer for the OB/GYN Osler National Review Course. BiographyDr. David Ghozland is a second generation Ob/Gyn who brings a tremendous amount of compassion and dedication to everything and everyone he treats. He was raised in Paris, France, where his father was a practicing Ob/Gyn. His mother yearned to return to California where she was raised and in his early teens his family made the move to Los Angeles. He graduated from La Serna High School in Whittier and then attended the University of Southern California, where he graduated with a BS in biology and a minor in French literature. After that, Dr. Ghozland graduated in the top 10 % of his medical school class and went on to receive a degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Ob/Gyn from St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York. During his residency period, he received the resident of the year award for two consecutive years and was awarded the Augustin Ravelo MD Award of Excellence and Compassion in medicine. He completed a Gynecology Oncology Resident Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. After graduation from residency, he opened his office in Los Angeles to be closer to his family. He is Board-certified and associated with 3 prestigious hospitals (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, St. John's Medical Center and UCLA). He is on teaching staff at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where he works with residents to prepare them for their future in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. He has lectured for the Osler Board Review Course, given to help prepare Ob/Gyns taking their board certification. Dr. Ghozland has a special affinity for pelvic surgery, especially vaginal cosmetic surgery including vaginoplasty, labiaplasty and perineoplasty. Shortly after graduation he elected to continue his surgical training in the specific areas of vaginoplasty and labiaplasty and spent much time under the direction of Dr. Red Alinsod learning the art of vaginal remodeling and pelvic reconstruction. Dr. Ghozland has recently published a committee opinion on Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. |
